The event-of-the-year for the entire video branch, Video Entertainment, celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2009. It took place on November 18/19th at The Westin Grand (in former times ArabellaSheraton Grand) in Munich, presented by the professional journal VideoMarkt and hosted by the publishing house Entertainment Media.
Well-known German and international speakers and their topics made Video Entertainment 2009 – just as usual – the most important business event of the year. The whole German DVD- and Blu-ray industry sent their leading representatives to Munich to discuss the market, present facts and figures and take a look at upcoming trends. Both days of the congress awaited the German and European video branch with exciting discussions and valuable impulses.
On the first evening the attending branch representatives got a possibility to meet clients and business partners in an unconstrained atmosphere at the Get-together. On the second evening the Video Champions were given to the awardees on a memorable gala event.
The Video Champions recognize excellence of professionals in the video and home entertainment industry, including directors, actors and writers.
